Family Is Everything!

They say family is everything, but is it? Well, considering there are holidays formed exclusively around the concept of gathering together with the ones who mean most to us, I would say yes. But busy as we are, we may not always find the time to gather together to nourish these all-important relationships. Thank goodness there's at least one day every year where we MUST think about getting together and celebrating those we love.

The best part of Thanksgiving is the opportunity to bring people together that otherwise may not be around every day. When we get that chance, what a great feeling it is to be able to catch up and discuss the changes that have taken place since the last reunion. College degrees, employment changes, weddings and babies--just to name a few! As you sit around and catch up on the details, you look around the room and realize this is your precious treasure--the family who supports and loves you unconditionally--and at the same time you realize the way things are today may never be this same way again.

This time of year is the perfect opportunity to talk to your family and discuss having pictures made. The holidays come and go fast and so will your memories if they are not frozen in time. Contact me to schedule a session to capture your family's precious memories--while your kids are on break and your favorite cousin is home from the Navy. How many pictures do you have of your littlest one holding Grandma's hand during Thanksgiving grace?

While picking which sort of photography is great, this will be settled just by the picture taker themselves. They may get a kick out of the opportunity to work in a progressively blended media way, joining their film pictures with paint, ink, etc. Others may wish to accomplish a relentlessly present day or multifaceted picture which will require the utilization of bleeding edge media.
